A DEVOÇÃO AOS SANTOS

No blogue anterior apresentáremos uma lista de santos. Esta lista é considerável e abarca santos venerados em três religiões diferentes – católica, anglicana e hindu.

O que têm estes santos em comum? Todos tiveram uma vida exemplar, coerente com a sua fé e que por vezes acabou no martirio e na morte.

Esres factos explicam que os santos sejam venerados e que algumas pessoas se identifiquem mais com um santo, que sentem mais próximo

Atendendo a que Deus é uma entidade abstracta e misteriosa compreende-se que se reze a alguém que foi um ser humano com uma vida exemplar. Todavia temos que ter presente que rezar a um santo é o mesmo que nos dirigirmos a Deus e que qualquer resposta às nossas preces vem fde Deus. Para mim pedir a um santo é como que uma cunha a Deus e haja santos milagreiros.Os santos são um exemplo de una vida que apesar das dificuldades
e tentações foi totalmente dedicada ao serviço de Deus e por isso podemos admitir que consideremos como guias e exemplos alguns santos com que nos identificamos com ele e
que em momentos difíceis consideremos o exemplo das suas vidas.
